Multi-Unit Team Leader

Joining us as a Multi-Unit Team Leader
, you ll provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices and lead customer-centric teams to accelerate our seasonal tax business.

• Provide leadership over three tax offices and lead the customer-centric teams to accelerate seasonal tax business.
• Serve as the front-line manager responsible for leadership and development of associates, delivering an outstanding client experience, and achieving office growth objectives for three offices.
• Prior tax preparation experience is not required.
• Start with a flexible part-time schedule in the fall and transition to full-time from January to April, including evening and weekend hours as needed; in-person work.
• Travel between offices as required.
• Lead daily team meetings, develop associate work schedules, ensure accurate timekeeping, and manage labor across all offices.
• Assist District General Manager in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office positions.
• Prepare tax returns as needed after completing the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment.

• People management experience with the ability to grow and develop associates.
• Aptitude for executing growth plans and building a growth oriented culture.
• Strong decision-making and judgment skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset.
• Computer proficiency in MS Office.
• Bachelor  degree in a related field, or high school diploma with equivalent experience.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns).
