• Locate buried facilities near the route of "B" service wire using appropriate equipment; operate a company vehicle with trailer and machinery.
• Locate buried facilities near the route of buried wire using appropriate equipment.
• Manual excavation using a shovel.
• Provide repairs to low‑voltage buried utilities or sprinkler systems; provide temporary repairs to low‑voltage buried utilities, sprinkler systems, and sewage field lines damaged while performing other duties.
• Periodic maintenance and non‑complex repairs to equipment used in the performance of other responsibilities.
• Read and interpret simple instructions.
• Follow established safety practices and procedures, including the manufacturer’s specifications for operation or use of equipment.

• Desire to work Monday through Friday with a shift length of 8hrs.
• Ability to work mandatory overtime and holidays as service conditions require.
• Eager to work outside in all kinds of weather conditions.
• Able to utilize various types of machines and tools.
• Lift and move objects up to 120 pounds.
• Use computers including hand‑held devices to update work status and check new assignments.
• Attain and maintain a DOT medical card.
• Complete on‑the‑job and/or classroom training as required.
• Demonstrate competency during probationary period to satisfy qualification achievement.
• Previous operating experience with similar equipment is desirable.
• Perform the above job duties with or without "reasonable accommodation".
• May be required to go out of region/state due to workload and emergency work.

Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
