What You Will Have An Opportunity To Do
We are looking for a highly motivated Banquet Server to join our team. This individual will set up, serve, and break down banquet rooms for functions, providing exceptional guest experience and support for event operations.
Responsibilities- Set up for functions, including draping tables, setting silverware, folding napkins, preparing drinks, and placing table centerpieces.
- Serve and bus food and beverages, pick up trays from the back hall, carry them to the event location, and clear tables after guests finish.
- Break down banquet rooms, bus tables, put away dirty linens and centerpieces, vacuum, and clean back hall and storerooms.
- Prepare break stations for AM or PM periods with coffee, tea, snacks, and beverages.
- Assist with event room setup according to meal period and table needs.
- Prepare food and beverage stations, stock condiments, brew coffee, and maintain cleanliness.
- Explain menu items, cooking methods, and ingredients to guests.
- Address special dietary requests and guest concerns promptly.
- Surface and sanitize tables, counters, and seats after use.
- Offer property information and provide warm welcomes and farewells.
- Collaborate with staff and assist other departments as needed.
- Ensure final quality checks on all food and beverage items before serving.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and provide additional service.
- Maintain awareness of safety issues, such as broken glass, frayed cords, leaks, and suspicious persons.
- 2–4 years of food service experience, preferably in banquet service.
- Experience in 4‑star or 5‑star venues with synchronized service.
- Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
- Passion for creating exceptional guest experiences.
- Excellent communication skills.
