Director of Finance and Accounting

With opportunity to transition to full time based on company milestones

We are a fast growing media and entertainment company seeking a Director of Finance and Accounting who can own both day to day financial operations and higher level finance responsibilities. This is a hands on role that starts on a part time, hourly basis, with the opportunity to grow into a full time position as the company reaches growth and funding milestones.

The focus is on running the financial backbone of the business while also producing financial models and contract level insight to support management decisions and investor readiness.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting and Bookkeeping

• Run accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
• Maintain the general ledger and close the books monthly
• Produce financial statements across all legal entities

Multi Entity and Cap Table Administration

• Maintain books for multiple legal entities
• Track intercompany transactions and balances
• Maintain cap tables and investor ownership records

Financial Modeling and Analysis

• Build Excel based models for revenue, production budgets and cash flow
• Model live event economics, content investments, and revenue share structures
• Prepare forecasts and scenario analyses for management and investors

Contract Review and Deal Support

• Review artist, venue, production, distribution, and sponsorship agreements for financial terms
• Extract pricing, revenue share, and payment terms into billing and financial models
• Flag risks, missing terms, or inconsistencies

Fundraising and Investor Support

• Prepare financial schedules, models, and reports for fundraising and diligence
• Maintain the company’s financial data room
• Support investor and lender requests

Cash and Corporate Administration

• Manage bank accounts, company cards, and vendor payments
• Maintain entity records, filings, and financial compliance documents

Who We Are Looking For

• 5 to 10 years of experience in accounting, finance operations, FP&A, or media finance
• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills
• Experience reading and reviewing contracts with revenue share or production economics
• Comfortable owning AP, AR, payroll, and close in small company environments
• Experience with multi entity or venture backed companies is a plus
• Able to work in office in South Florida
