Senior Accountant

Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. In this role, you will oversee key financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance in accounting practices. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the company's financial health and implement process improvements.

Responsibilities:

- Maintain and update accounting records to ensure accuracy and completeness.

- Process and review expense reports in a timely manner.

- Assist with tax preparation and related documentation.

- Post transactions to the general ledger, categorizing them appropriately by assets, liabilities, and expenses.

- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between transactions and records.

- Analyze financial transactions to identify trends and discrepancies.

- Conduct month-end and year-end closings, ensuring all financial activities are accounted for.

- Prepare audit schedules and documentation to support compliance requirements.

- Manage revenue and expense accruals, ensuring proper allocation.

- Apply and ensure adherence to new accounting policies and regulatory standards. Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with strong skills in spreadsheet management.

- Familiarity with accounting software; experience with Microsoft Business Central is a plus.

- Solid understanding of general ledger and journal entries.

- Strong mathematical abilities and attention to detail.

- Excellent organizational and communication skills.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold integrity in financial practices.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
