Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position with EPIC experience and FL or compact license required.
Responsibilities- Work in a hospital Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with potential to float to Emergency Department Holding
- Assignment may float between Cape Canaveral, Holmes Regional, Palm Bay, and Viera locations
- Night shifts, 3x12 hours from 18:45 to 7:15
- Minimum of 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule period
- No call responsibilities
- Uses EPIC EMR system; EPIC experience required
- Flu vaccine required annually between 10/31 and 3/31, with medical or religious exemptions accepted
- Parking is free with decal provided at orientation
- Scrubs must be solid color, matching tops and bottoms, with no logos or prints
- Must wait one year after leaving an internal contracted position at the health system before returning
- Active FL or compact RN license required at time of consideration
- Minimum 1 year of PCU nursing experience required
- Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Two references from a manager, supervisor, charge nurse, or director within the last year required
- First-time travelers accepted
