Our client, a leading organization in the industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Space & Occupancy Planning Specialist to join their team. As a Space & Occupancy Planning Specialist, you will be an integral part of the Facilities Management Department supporting the Workplace Strategy team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong collaboration skills, tactical space planning expertise, and project management capabilities, which will enable you to thrive and make a meaningful impact within the organization.
- Job Title: Space & Occupancy Planning Specialist
- Location: Palm Bay, FL
- Pay rate: $35-38/hr
- Support occupancy space data management to ensure accurate and current information.
- Conduct regular occupancy audits to verify department locations, individual assignments, and space configurations.
- Perform space plan updates, including restacking scenarios and test fits to optimize space utilization.
- Engage in scenario planning, analyzing office cube ratios, and developing area plans for efficient workspace allocation.
- Monitor daily space utilization and collaborate with the local team to align headcount growth, executive summaries, and scenario charts.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in space planning and familiarity with industry-standard business tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Experience in workplace strategies, design implementation, and project management.
- Ability to analyze potential space use and develop strategic solutions.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate occupancy data and system updates.
