We are searching for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join a large manufacturing company in Melbourne, FL. This person will be responsible for processing a high volume of invoices as well as matching purchase orders and communicating with vendors.
This is a contract position that will last at least 6 months. There is a possibility of this becoming a permanent role if the person excels in the position.
Responsibilities- Process daily invoices and credit memos
- Enter payment disputes into Excel
- Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on aged balances
- Research and resolve vendor discrepancies
- Document travel expense reports
- Support weekly check runs
- 2+ years of experience in accounts payable
