Job Overview
The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and material handling equipment to efficiently move, load, and unload products within our warehouse. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts including clamp trucks and cherry pickers to transport materials and products within the warehouse.
• Load and unload goods from delivery trucks using pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
• Perform order picking tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring that products are prepared for shipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards set by OSHA.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of tasks.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues.
• Utilize warehouse management systems for tracking inventory levels and order processing.

Experience

• Previous experience as a forklift operator or in a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
• Experience in order picking or as an order picker is beneficial.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, including OSHA standards, is essential.
• Mechanical knowledge related to forklift operation and maintenance is advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating strong communication skills.
