Aircraft Mechanic

We’re partnering with a nationally recognized air medical operator seeking an A&P Mechanic to support a helicopter fleet in Palestine, TX
. This is not corporate hangar work — every aircraft you maintain directly supports emergency response missions.

• Review and execute daily maintenance and inspection requirements
• Maintain airworthiness of assigned aircraft at a field base
• Troubleshoot and repair airframe and power plant systems
• Document and certify work in compliance with FAA and manufacturer standards
• Maintain inventory, tools, and parts accountability
• Communicate effectively with Lead Mechanics and operational teams
• Ensure safety and security of all company assets

• FAA Mechanic Certificate (Airframe & Powerplant required)
• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Certified Aircraft Mechanic
• Strong troubleshooting skills across airframe and power plant systems
• Basic computer proficiency
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and pass required physical/drug/background screenings
• Strong communication and documentation skills

• Flexibility for travel between bases
• Ability to work nights when maintenance events require

• 7 days on / 7 days off
• Based in Palestine, TX
• Must live within 60 miles or 1 hour of base
• Travel between bases may be required
• Sign‑on bonus up to $15,000
