Position: Physician / Gastroenterology / Texas / Permanent / Gastroenterology Physician between Dallas and Houston, Texas Job
GI physician to work collaboratively with the current general surgeons and assist with reestablishing our GI service line. The incoming GI will be the primary provider for scopes within the community.

Hospital employed position
Cover one hospital only
No local GI competition
Primarily an adult and geriatric patient base
No clinic call requirements
Call schedule: 10 days/month (includes 1 weekend)
Dedicated clinic and surgery days
ERCP is not required but a plus
2024 " 1500 scopes performed (the volumes are there for significantly more)
5 ORs and 2 GI suites
The ideal physician enjoys living and practicing in a rural community
Requires BC/BE and a clean history
Can offer J1 waiver
