As an Emergency Room RN, you will serve on the frontline of healthcare, playing a pivotal role in the rapid assessment, triage, stabilization, and treatment of patients facing urgent, complex, and often life-threatening health conditions.

In this vital position, you will encounter a wide range of medical scenarios, including traumatic injuries, cardiac arrests, respiratory distress, strokes, sepsis, and other emergent situations that demand swift, decisive action. Your ability to think quickly, apply clinical expertise, and coordinate seamlessly with an interdisciplinary team-including physicians, advanced practice providers, paramedics, and other healthcare professionals-will directly influence patient outcomes during their most critical moments.

• Provide exceptional customer service and patient care with respect, dignity, and empathy.
• Deliver rapid assessments and prompt interventions to stabilize patients in critical conditions.
• Establish a compassionate and supportive environment for patients and their families.
• Identify and monitor patient symptoms, changes in condition, and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Modify and adapt treatment plans according to patient response and physician directives.
• Coordinate with healthcare teams to develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.

Review, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests for quick decision-making

Candidate requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher.
• Active Florida RN License or eligibility to apply before the start date.
• 1 year of Acute Care ER experience is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Must be obtained within 30 days of hire).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (Must be obtained within 30 days of hire).
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (Must be obtained within 30 days of hire)
• If the candidate has 3+ years of RN experience and holds a compact RN license, they must still apply for a Florida RN license.
• If the candidate has less than 3 years of RN experience and does not hold a Florida RN license, they must take and pass the NCLEX in Florida before being considered.
