Verovian Nursing Agency is partnering with a respected healthcare facility in Palatka, Florida, to recruit a committed and skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN). This position is ideal for a nurse who performs exceptionally under pressure, adapts quickly to changing situations, and values patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency setting.

As an ER RN, you'll play a critical role in delivering responsive, skilled nursing care to patients with a broad range of medical needs-from trauma and acute illness to pediatric emergencies and complex diagnostics. You'll assess, treat, and advocate for patients of all ages, working collaboratively with physicians and support teams to ensure efficient and effective care delivery.

Emergency Care & Patient Management:

• Consistently deliver high-quality patient care and customer service across all ER functions.
• Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and families.
• Educate patients and families on condition management, medications, and self-care strategies.

Clinical Collaboration & Documentation:

• Consult with physicians and healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Maintain continuity of care by clearly communicating needs, changes, and interventions during handoffs and shift changes.
• Ensure equipment is operating properly; troubleshoot issues and report malfunctions.

Leadership & Support Functions:

• Delegate and supervise personnel, including auxiliary staff and students.
• Promote infection control programs and advise on safety protocols as needed.

Candidate requirements

• Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Licensure:
  • Active Florida RN license or compact RN license (compact license holders must apply for Florida license within 60 days of relocation).
  • For candidates with less than 3 years of RN experience: must take and pass the NCLEX in Florida to be considered.
• Experience:
  • Minimum 1 year of acute care ER nursing experience required.
