Overview
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) – Full-Time
Location: Palatka, FL
Shifts Available: Days, Evenings, or Nights (All with Rotating Weekends)
Pay Range: $30.60 - $45.90/hour (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $25,000
Shift Differentials: $4.25 for nights, $2.00 for weekends
Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
We are hiring experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our fast-paced Emergency Department in Palatka, FL. This role is ideal for a critical thinker with excellent clinical and communication skills who thrives in high-acuity environments. You’ll be part of a supportive team dedicated to providing rapid, high-quality emergency care to patients of all ages.
Responsibilities- Monitor and document patient conditions and interventions
- Administer medications and perform diagnostics as needed
- Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team on treatment plans
- Ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols
- Support patient discharge planning and provide education
- Participate in department initiatives for continuous improvement
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
- Active RN license (Florida or Compact; FL license must be obtained within 90 days)
- Minimum 1 year of recent ER acute care RN experience required
- BLS and ACLS required within 30 days of hire
- PALS certification required within 30 days
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
