• Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment and store cleanliness. Advocates of both in-store and digital services and solutions who are knowledgeable about capabilities and features that drive adoption, usage and ultimately guest loyalty. Empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at the checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring exceptional quality.
• Assist guests with a variety of tasks across service areas, including checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while following Target policies and procedures.
• Deliver easy and accurate service to all Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs and provide knowledge about tools, products, and services available in the total store, including area-specific offerings.
• Scan and bag guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices.
• Assist with returns, de-escalation when needed, and partner with leaders to resolve guest concerns while following Target’s policies and procedures.
• Support guest services such as order pick up (OPU), Drive-up (DU) Orders, and DU Returns; maintain a compliant service culture while handling duties including cash handling as needed.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and stock supplies during store hours while remaining available for guests.
• Understand and show guests how to use Wallet and the Target App features and enrollment in loyalty programs.
• Work in a safe manner, comply with safety policies, report hazards, and support a culture of safety and compliance.

• Accurately handle cash register operations and support cash office as needed.
• Ability to scan, handle and move merchandise safely; lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally with or without assistance.
• Flexibility to pick up shifts to meet store needs; active engagement by picking up shifts and responding to contact attempts (failure to work at least one shift within 5 months may lead to administrative termination).
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments; stay mobile for the duration of a shift.
