Position Overview

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, troubleshooting real-world problems, and learning how instrumentation, systems, and data work together. You will support environmental monitoring projects while building strong technical expertise alongside experienced engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the design, configuration, installation, and support of advanced industrial monitoring systems
  • Perform hands-on work with instrumentation, sensors, data acquisition hardware/software, and supporting communications
  • Analyze, validate, and interpret monitoring data
  • Support preparation of technical reports, monitoring plans, and training materials
  • Contribute to the development of new monitoring products and services
  • Learn and apply applicable environmental regulations
  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and project teams to meet project objectives
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field
  • 0-4 years of experience
  • Mechanical aptitude with a curiosity to tinker
  • Familiarity with hand tools, voltmeters, or networking is a plus
  • Effective technical writing and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or on a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
  • Willingness for overnight travel (up to 40%) to project sites, training opportunities, and conferences both in the U.S. and internationally
