Taymouth Castle Golf and Sport Club Security Operations Officers are part of a highly professional team of safety and security providers who are encouraged to contribute their knowledge and skill sets for the benefit of the community and the department.
Our Security Operations Officers provide support across all Club locations in Security, Fire, Life Safety, Alarm Monitoring, Video Monitoring, Incident Management, Investigation Support, and dispatch safety and security resources as required.
Operating in a comparable way to a control‑room operator, this department will grow as the Club facilities expand. All Security Operations Officers must hold a valid SIA CCTV License.
ResponsibilitiesDispatch and coordinate responses to incidents that occur on club premises or at club events, using appropriate communication methods. Responses may be to medical emergencies, burglaries, intruder, fire, or duress alarms.
Consult with law enforcement, fire, or other public‑safety organisations related to emergencies at or near company property.
Document, assess, and escalates instances of threats in the workplace, developing concise, fact‑based incident reports for distribution to Club Security Management.
Report out‑of‑ordinary or abnormal conditions to company security personnel, management, employees, and operations team.
Receive, evaluate and disseminate incoming information and reports from company security personnel, security officers in the field, company employees, suppliers, reporting parties, and local agencies via radio, phone and e‑mail.
Assist in coordinating service requests requiring after‑hours access to Club Properties.
Qualifications- Equivalent of three years full‑time in a security function, preferably in an operations or control‑room centre setting.
- Valid SIA CCTV License and valid UK driving licence.
- Proficiency in Alarm Monitoring, Access Control, Video Management and Crisis Communication technology.
- Experience using Smart PTT, Genetec, or other enterprise VMS/SMS/communications platforms highly preferred; training can be given.
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks with limited supervision while providing excellent customer service in a high‑call‑volume setting.
- Excellent communication skills at all organisational levels.
- Calm, patient, composed, with the skill of juggling priorities intelligently.
- Commitment to a flexible scheduling environment (rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays).
