A rapidly scaling, award-winning technology company with a £1bn valuation and over 30,000 customers is looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive growth.
This is a true 360 sales ownership role
Base Salary: £30-40k + £400/month car allowance (depending on experience) + OTE
As the BDM, you will own a protected territory, selling a complete technology stack (Telecoms, IT, Cyber Security, Mobile) to SME and mid-market businesses.
This is consultative selling that builds lasting partnerships
Your responsibilities cover the entire customer journey.
- Prospecting:
Research, execute outbound campaigns (cold calling, Linked In, email), and turn cold prospects into warm opportunities. - Consultative Selling:
Run discovery calls, face-to-face meetings, and present tailored solutions. - Closing Deals:
Navigate complex B2B cycles, handle objections, negotiate contracts, and close through value creation. - Account Growth:
Cross-sell, upsell, generate referrals, and build long-term strategic partnerships.
- Proven B2B sales experience with complex solution selling.
- Self-motivated and resilient—rejection doesn't phase you, it fuels you.
- Ability to work autonomously while being a strong team player.
- Bonus points for experience selling technology solutions to SMEs (20-500 employees) or a background in cyber security, telecommunications, or IT services.
