Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Sales Associate to join our team in Newton Mearns. This is primarily an office-based role involving liaising with clients, preparing quotes and processing orders. Out with the office, sales associates represent the company at networking meetings and business exhibitions. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to client engagement, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Client Liaison:
    Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and building strong relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Quotation Preparation:
    Develop accurate and competitive quotes based on client requirements, ensuring timely delivery and follow-up.
  • Order Processing:
    Manage the end-to-end order process, including order entry, tracking, and coordination with relevant suppliers to ensure timely fulfilment.
  • Networking and Exhibitions:
    Attend occasional networking events and business exhibitions as a company representative to promote our products/services.
  • Record Maintenance:
    Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and transactions using the company's CRM system.
  • Collaboration:

    Work closely with the team.
  • Market Awareness:
    Stay aware of industry trends and market activities.
Requirements
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to adapt to CRM systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Willingness to attend occasional events outside of standard working hours.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to work, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
