Trusts & Foundations Lead

Overview

As a leading Scottish children’s healthcare charity, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Trusts & Foundations Lead to join our team. The post holder is responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating a fundraising strategy to retain and increase income from charitable trusts and foundations against agreed targets.

The Volunteer & Programme Co-ordinator will help with the day-to-day coordination of those who generously share their time and talent with Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity, helping ensure their experience is well-organised and supported. You’ll work closely with the Volunteer Manager and Charity Impact Team to keep our volunteer programme running smoothly - supporting fundraising events, hospital-based roles and more. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading on the delivery and implementation of our community, events and individual funding streams to reach our income targets
• Proactively seeking out new supporters, stewarding existing donor relationships and following up on prospects
• Securing and undertaking speaking engagements to raise awareness and funds for The Yard
• Leading by example; sharing your energy, knowledge, ideas and insights to inspire confidence and drive forward the development of our income streams

This job is for you if you have:

• Proven experience working within a fundraising or equivalent role
• Had significant success in managing and growing income for community, events and/or individual sources to meet financial targets
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with a positive can-do attitude and a friendly, approachable manner
