Manufacturing Process Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated
Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our Bio Foam team in Glasgow. The successful candidate will play a vital role in developing and optimising manufacturing processes to ensure high-quality leather production. The role involves working closely with various departments, analysing current processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and product quality. The Process Engineer will also contribute to research and development activities, bringing a background in R&D Engineering to support continuous innovation within our manufacturing environment.

You will be expected to lead process improvement projects from inception through to completion, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.

• Proven experience in R&D Engineering within a manufacturing or leather production environment
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse complex processes
• Ability to lead projects and work collaboratively across departments
• Knowledge of safety, quality, and environmental standards relevant to manufacturing
• Degree qualification or equivalent in Engineering or a related field is preferable
