Sr. Solution Engineer

The Sr. Solution Engineer will partner with senior account executives across EMEA, driving pre‑sales activities, delivering customer‑focused presentations, and acting as the bridge to internal delivery and services teams. This role is fully remote within the United Kingdom.

• Partner with senior account executives on global sales opportunities.
• Participate in customer meetings, responding to their needs and challenges.
• Collaborate with service delivery and product teams worldwide for pricing and delivery approvals.
• Deliver compelling Rimini Street services and support presentations—both remotely and in person—with confidence and skill.
• Provide detailed scoping requirements for support services to be delivered by Rimini Street.

• Contribute to company‑wide initiatives supporting growth and profitability of Oracle product lines.
• Travel outside your geography as required for global initiatives.
• Travel approximately 25% of the time to support sales deals in your territory.

• 12‑15 years in a pre‑sales engineering or solution architect role across applications, technology, or database ecosystems.
• Proven consultative selling experience in a global, matrixed organization.
• Experience implementing or supporting complex enterprise applications worldwide.
• Track record of supporting sales reps through the cycle and contributing to deal closure.
• Experience with full‑cycle software implementations.
• Experience with lift‑and‑shift of application and technology products to public cloud.

• Mastery of software licensing rules for large enterprise systems (Oracle, SAP) including matching service levels and repricing.
• Working familiarity with a wide array of applications and technology products.
• Understanding of software licensing issues and challenges.
• Experience with application/database security and related standards (PCI, NERC, CIP).
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and applications in public cloud versus on‑premise.

• Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills in English.
• Autonomous work ability to meet prospect needs.
• Strong speaking skills (telephone, onsite, conference, seminar).
• Strong documentation skills (Word, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Disciplined self‑management in a work‑from‑home environment.

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
