PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR
Based at Renfrewshire House, Cotton Street, Paisley.
ResponsibilitiesMain duties of the post will include supporting the Payroll Coordinators by ensuring payroll processes are carried out accurately and time‑synchronously.
Essential Qualifications- Relevant experience operating within a payroll team, handling expenses, subsistence payments, pensions, overtime, basic sick pay calculations, maternity/paternity and adoption payments.
- Knowledge and understanding of Masterfile, payroll processes and deductions that can be processed through a payroll system.
- Effective numeracy and IT skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with managers, supervisors, employees and a range of agencies.
- High level of accuracy, ability to work to tight deadlines, and teamwork.
- Experience operating a multi‑payroll system.
- Familiarity with Business World or the Council's payroll system.
- Understanding of the roles and responsibilities within a busy integrated payroll and personnel team.
