Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated registered nurse to work within the developing Hospital at Home service within Renfrewshire/East Renfrewshire. Candidates must be registered on NMC prior to applying for this post. A car driver is necessary.
Shift Pattern / ScheduleShift pattern – 8 am to 8 pm, 5 days over 7, including public holidays. As from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week; part‑time hours will be reduced pro‑rata, with a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
Key responsibilities- Manage and provide care for patients admitted to the Hospital at Home virtual ward, delivering acute level care in the patients’ own homes or homely environments.
- Work under the direction and supervision of the lead ANP and ANP’s within the team, supporting the delivery of safe, high‑quality care.
- Collaborate with front‑door teams (ED, MAU, AMU, Older Adults assessment unit) to admit frailty patients with acute changes to the Hospital at Home virtual ward.
- Assist in the expansion of the bed model to 18 beds delivered over 7 days inclusive of public holidays, as the service becomes more established.
- Registered nurse with NMC registration.
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle (car driver required).
