Home First Response Service Physiotherapist – Community Services

Apply for the Home First Response Service Physiotherapist role at NHS Scotland. This is a full‑time position within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC), with part‑time options available. The role is based in Renfrewshire HSCP and involves working across acute and community services to support frailty, maximise independence, and prevent avoidable hospital admissions.

• Provide physiotherapy care to patients in home and community settings, supporting early discharge and preventing readmissions.
• Work peripatetic across acute and community sites to develop a 7‑day service and deliver multidisciplinary care.
• Facilitate communication between acute and community teams and contribute to service improvement initiatives.
• Maintain competency following local induction and competency frameworks.

Shift pattern: 5 days a week over a 7‑day cycle, 37 hours per week (36 hours effective 1 April 2026 for all Agenda for Change posts).

• Registered Physiotherapist with a relevant postgraduate qualification.
• Experience delivering physiotherapy care in community or acute settings.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to take part in service improvement and self‑development.
