We are seeking a End of Line Test Engineer to perform final quality verification and calibration of electronic equipment at the end of the production line. This position is suited to an experienced engineer with strong practical knowledge of calibrated test equipment, measurement techniques, and fundamental electronic principles.
We are primarily interested in demonstrable technical understanding, attention to detail, and the ability to work methodically to a high standard of quality.
Key Responsibilities- Test, verify, and validate electronic equipment using appropriate test methodologies
- Operate and interpret results from electronic test instruments
- Read, understand, and follow technical instructions, while maintaining clear personal notes and test documentation
- Complete test sheets accurately and consistently to a high-quality standard
- Identify faults, anomalies, and performance issues during testing
- Perform calibration checks and maintain calibration records for test equipment
- Support continuous improvement of test processes and documentation
- Act as a technical reference point where appropriate, supporting colleagues
Candidates should demonstrate strong practical knowledge in the following areas:
Calibrated Test Equipment & Measurement- Confident use of electronic test equipment, including:
- Digital Multimeters
- Calibration Standards & Reference Equipment
- Function Generators
- Power Meters
- Understanding of measurement standards, calibration procedures, and traceability requirements
- Solid understanding of:
- Ohm’s Law
- Power, voltage, current, and resistance relationships
- Basic electronic component knowledge, including:
- Transistors
- TTL and CMOS logic
- Logic inverters
- Truth tables for digital logic
- Comfortable working with scientific notation
- Ability to perform basic electrical and power calculations
- Logical, structured problem-solving approach
- High level of diligence and attention to detail
- Ability to accurately follow instructions
- Independently recording notes and test results
- Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all technical work
- Ability to read and interpret electronic circuit diagrams
- Experience reading and understanding integrated circuit (IC) datasheets
- Knowledge of measurement uncertainty and tolerance analysis
- Understanding of calibration intervals and equipment maintenance requirements
