Are you a Criminology Graduate looking to gain hands‑on experience supporting young people with social, emotional and mental health needs?
A specialist alternative provision in Gloucester is seeking a motivated and resilient Criminology Graduate to support secondary‑aged students who face challenges in mainstream education. This role is particularly well suited to Criminology graduates looking to gain hands‑on experience supporting young people with behavioural needs and those at risk of disengaging from education.
The Role- Support students with SEMH, behavioural needs and additional learning needs
- Promote emotional regulation, positive behaviour and engagement with learning
- Build strong relationships and support reintegration pathways
- Work closely with teaching and pastoral teams in a small specialist setting
- Excellent experience for aspiring Clinical, Educational or Forensic Psychologists
- Gain practical SEMH and behaviour support experience
- High staff‑to‑student ratios and supportive team environment
- Valuable stepping stone into psychology, therapy or specialist education
- Psychology Graduate or related degree
- Passionate about SEN and mental health
- Resilient, patient and confident supporting behaviour
Full‑time, long‑term role starting ASAP / September starts available
