Responsibilities
  • Provide individualised support to students with a range of special educational needs and disabilities
  • Collaborate with teachers and multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement effective learning plans
  • Assist with the delivery of engaging and inclusive lessons, adapting activities to meet students' unique needs
  • Monitor and record students' progress, maintaining detailed records and contributing to assessments
  • Participate in continuous professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
  • Willingness to work as part of a team and contribute to a collaborative, supportive environment
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Relevant experience working as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in a SEND setting
  • Strong understanding of SEND practices and strategies for supporting students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of young people
  • Willingness to work as part of a team and contribute to a collaborative, supportive environment
