Position: Steel Fixer (Permanent)
Steel Fixer – Paisley

We are currently recruiting for experienced Steel Fixers for ongoing civil engineering and structural concrete works in the Paisley area.

This is a strong opportunity for reliable steel fixers to join a well-established contractor delivering major infrastructure and reinforced concrete projects.

Project Description

Works include:

* Retaining walls

* Parapets

* Bridge decks

* Reinforced concrete structures

Description of the Role

* Fixing steel reinforcement for concrete structures

* Reading and working from drawings and bar schedules

* Tying rebar, mesh, and cages to specification

* Working closely with formwork and concrete teams

* Maintaining high health & safety standards on site

Requirements

* Valid CSCS Card (essential)

* Proven experience as a Steel Fixer

* Right to work in the UK

Additional tickets advantageous (but not essential), including:

* Banksman

* SSSTS / SMSTS

* Other relevant site qualifications
