Van Driver And Warehouse Operative, Brixham, South Devon

An excellent temporary opportunity has arisen for a versatile and hardworking Van Driver and Warehouse Operative to join a busy operation based in Brixham, South Devon. This is a dual-function role that combines road-based delivery driving with hands-on warehouse duties, making it an ideal position for someone who enjoys variety in their working day. The successful candidate will be flexible, dependable and comfortable working across a seven-day operation with variable start times ranging from early morning through mid-morning.

Brixham, South Devon. This is a site and road-based role. No remote or hybrid working applies.

£12.21 to £13.68 per hour via PAYE Advance (other PAYE models are available). Paid weekly every Friday.

• Operating a Category B van safely and in line with all road transport legislation and company procedures
• Completing customer deliveries to a high standard and representing the company professionally at every drop
• Supporting warehouse operations including picking, packing, loading and unloading as required
• Adhering to all health and safety guidelines and operational protocols at all times
• Conducting basic vehicle checks and reporting any defects or concerns through the correct channels
• Maintaining a flexible and reliable approach to work across variable shifts and start times
• Working efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced and operationally busy environment

• A full and valid Category B driving licence
• Previous experience in a van delivery role or a comparable driving environment
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or distribution setting
• Flexibility to work across a seven-day operation with start times ranging from 2:00am to 6:00am
• Ability to work safely and productively in a physically demanding environment

• Familiarity with delivery routes across South Devon and the surrounding coastal areas
• Experience in a combined driving and warehousing role
• Knowledge of manual handling procedures and best practice

• Competitive hourly pay between £12.21 and £13.68 per hour via PAYE Advance (other PAYE models are available)
