• Perform maintenance and repair work on various vessel engines.
• Troubleshoot and replace pumps, compressors, and other mechanical systems.
• Assist the Port Engineer/Project Manager with vessel repairs during dry dock.
• Travel extensively using a company‑provided work truck.
• Follow all safety policies and PPE requirements.
• Visit vessels in operation to assist with repair and preventive maintenance planning.
• Participate in the on‑call rotation for after‑hours, weekend, and holiday coverage.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the VP of Engineering.

Qualifications:

• Experience with EMD, John Deere, Caterpillar, and/or Cummins engines preferred.
• Experience with Falk, Lufkin, and Reintjes gears is a plus.
• HVAC, electrical, or Steerprop Z‑drive experience is a plus.
• TWIC required.
• Excellent driving record required.
• Ability to travel (company vehicle provided).
• Diesel Technology certification or degree preferred but not required.
