Building Maintenance Technician

* About the Role:

* As a CBRE Maintenance Technician supporting a health care client in the Paducah, KY area, you will play a key role in maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable facilities. You will be responsible for performing repairs and providing maintenance across multiple buildings, industrial systems, equipment, and grounds.

+ 12‑hour shift schedule:
Rotatingweekly between 3 days one week and 4 days the next; shifts run 7:00AM-7:30 PM, with schedules of Wednesday-Saturday or Thursday-Saturday depending on rotation.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed building systems, equipment, and facilities.

+ Utilize computer systems to input work time, access Safety Data Sheets, training, and procedures; demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with internal and external customers and share technical knowledge with peers and craftspeople.

+ Perform daily maintenance activities requiring extensive walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, working at heights, climbing stairs/ladders, and operating scaffolds or lifts; may also work in confined spaces or extreme temperatures with exposure to hazardous chemicals, machinery, and loud noise.

+ Deliver multi-craft maintenance support (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.).

+ Apply proactive asset management practices to optimize equipment lifecycle and utilization.

+ Prioritize customer service and collaboration to minimize downtime and support scientific innovation.

** What You'll Need:*
* + High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

+ Must possess and maintain an active, valid driver's license.

+ Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

+ Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.

+ Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.

+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

+ Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mentality.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Building Engineer position is $35 per hour and the maximum salary is $40 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
