Regional Sales Manager – Industrial Fabrication & Conveyor Solutions – Direct Hire

$85k–$100k base salary + commission | $150k+ OTE

A well-established industrial manufacturing and fabrication company is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to help drive growth as the organization invests heavily in expanding its conveyor components, pulley, and precision fabrication business.

The Position
  • Field-based Regional Sales Manager role covering a Midwest territory
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow regional revenue
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across conveyor, package handling, and fabrication services
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline through proactive prospecting
  • Drive quoting activity and manage opportunities through close
  • Expand existing accounts through new programs, upselling, and cross-selling
  • Work closely with engineering, production, marketing, and customer support teams
  • Support customer visits, audits, and technical discussions
  • Maintain accurate CRM reporting, funnel management, and forecasting
  • Travel 30–50% (up to 70% during peak periods), primarily regional
  • Candidate should live within a 4-hour drive of Northwest Ohio
Key Responsibilities
  • Solution-Based Selling: Identify customer needs and deliver tailored conveyor and fabrication solutions
  • Prospecting: Build new business pipeline through research, outreach, and networking
  • Territory Planning: Strategically manage time, accounts, and growth opportunities
  • Sales Funnel Management: Create action plans, monitor progress, and adjust strategy
  • Customer Relationship Development: Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers
  • Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless customer experience
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates on pipeline, activity, and market trends
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of B2B sales experience in manufacturing or industrial markets
  • Experience selling through industrial distribution, manufacturer’s representatives, and direct to OEMs
  • Background in package handling, conveyor systems, pulleys, fabrication services, or power transmission products
  • Existing relationships within package handling, food & beverage, big-box retail, automotive aftermarket, or baggage handling markets
  • Strong mechanical aptitude;
    precision steel tube fabrication experience preferred
  • Proven history of exceeding sales targets
  • Strong CRM discipline and reporting habits
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to travel up to 70%
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
  • Commission: $40,000–$60,000 target (uncapped)
  • OTE: $150,000+
