Production Manager
POSITION SUMMARY
The primary responsibilities of the Production Supervisor are to ensure production runs according to schedule in a safe and timely manner. The supervisor reports directly to the Production Manager and is responsible for all production employees, giving weekly safety meetings, assigning daily tasks, and conducting meetings as needed to address the production crew. The role works closely with the Production Manager, Plant Manager, Inventory Control Personnel, Quality Assurance, and Material Procurement.
Additionally, the supervisor participates in the interviewing, hiring, and firing processes, maintains attendance records, approves benefit time, schedules daily breaks, supervises a team of up to 30 employees, ensures employees are properly trained and following company GMP policies, participates in all monthly inspections and internal/external yearly audits, and verifies all production paperwork is completed correctly, accurately, and daily. The position also involves entering raw materials used during production into DDIM v2/JDE daily and completing the production efficiency tracker daily.
The supervisor manages hourly employees and implements measures to develop a supportive work environment while supporting company policies and procedures to drive excellence.
Data entry and reporting, supervision, processing equipment and positions, mathematical formulas, leadership, policy enforcement, computer software systems, presentation skills, dairy processing, and other duties assigned by the business.

Education:
High School Diploma/GED - Required Experience: Two years of experience in manufacturing with dairy processing knowledge

PAY RANGES$58,656 - $62,400 USD
