Director, Surgical Services

* Job Description:

** The Director of Surgical Services will be responsible and accountable for the development, organization, and ongoing management of all surgical services areas which includes Sterile Processing, OR scheduling, Pre-op, OR, PACU, and Endoscopy.
*
* Job Duties:

*** Forecasting - will develop estimations of future opportunities and demands to be placed upon the department.
* Establishing Objectives - will develop and implement departmental goals to be achieved in the department.
* Budgeting - will determine the proper allocation of human and non - human resources necessary to achieve established objectives.
* Developing Organization Structure-will establish and maintain organizational structure pertaining to the identification of work to be done in the department and the designation of proper personnel to perform this work.
* Establishment of Policies - will establish and maintain policies to be enforced within the department for assuring that specific, repetitive situations are handled uniformly throughout the department.
* Establishment of Procedures - will establish and maintain procedures to be enforced within the department for the purpose of assuring that repetitive work is consistently performed in the most effective and efficient manner.
** Requirements:
*** Bachelors degree
* Five years of job-related experience.
* Professional license or certification.
* Equivalent experience may be substituted for education.
