**** Diagnostic Radiology Technologist
**** Part Time - 24 hours/week - afternoons with weekend rotation   Call and Holidays when applicable

* Job Description:

** Provides health care services applying pulsed x-ray energy to assist diagnosis or treatment. Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by or at the request of a licensed independent practitioner.
*
* Job Duties:

*** Verifies orders, patient name/birth date and history.
* Performs/documents time out procedure for invasive procedures.
* Performs routine diagnostic imaging, fluoroscopy, surgery imaging, ED/Urgent care imaging, and assist Radiologist and authorized providers with exams/procedures, as necessary.
* Produce quality images for Radiologist’s review.
* Must be able to complete warm up and QC on equipment (i.e. room checks, contrast reactions/infiltrates as required).
** Requirements:
*** Technical Diploma from Accredited School of Radiologic Technology
* Current Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (KBMIRT) License
* Current License with the American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in Radiography (R)
