We are seeking a Professional Engineer with 5–9 years of experience who wants to provide production support and design, to take ownership in shaping complex port and harbor infrastructure projects from early planning through construction.
This is an opportunity to play a visible role in impactful maritime projects, work directly with decision-makers, and help deliver resilient infrastructure that supports communities.
You’ll be part of a ports engineering team where your technical judgment matters. You won’t be siloed; you’ll contribute to project strategy, interface with clients, and help drive solutions on challenging waterfront and coastal projects.

- Lead and support planning, analysis, and design of port, harbor, and waterfront infrastructure projects from concept through construction
- Perform marine engineering design and coordinate closely with Civil, Structural, Transportation, Geotechnical, and Environmental teams
- Contribute to feasibility studies, conceptual layouts, port master planning, and development of opinions of probable cost and technical reports
- Serve as a technical ports resource within project teams, supporting design decisions, schedules, and cost estimating
- Coordinate with clients, agencies, and stakeholders, including participation in meetings and technical presentations
- Support successful project delivery by developing and monitoring schedules, budgets, and project plans while resolving design challenges and maintaining quality and regulatory compliance
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
- 5–9 years of experience in marine, waterfront, coastal, or heavy civil infrastructure
- Strong technical problem-solving skills and sound engineering judgment
- Ability and interest in taking increasing responsibility with clients and projects
- Valid Driver’s License in state of residence
