This established hospital is part of a respected healthcare network providing comprehensive medical services to the western Kentucky region. The facility features an advanced orthopedic surgery department with EPIC EMR system and excellent clinical support staff.

Physician - Surgery - Orthopedic

Job Details:

• Backfill position for surgery and Hospital Call with potential for ongoing needs
• Open dates include 4/3, 7a-4/13, 7a with additional dates available
• 24-hour Emergency Call (7a-7a) with call back
• Provider MUST be able to perform hip nailing procedures
• Treat diverse patient demographics including adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Handle orthopedic surgical cases and trauma including hip nailing, treatment of fractures, dislocations, amputations, deformities, and tumors of bones and joints
• Perform Total Joint Replacement/Revision or Repair (Hip, Knee, Shoulder)
• Conduct Spinal Surgery procedures both with and without instrumentation (Lumbar, Cervical, Thoracic)
• Perform Arthroscopy procedures
• Board Certification required
• Active Kentucky medical license required (IMLC is acceptable)
• Active DEA required
• BLS Certification required
• Orthopedic Fellowship preferred
• Clean background check required
• Self-Query NPDB report mandatory (dated within 30 days of presentation)
• Weekend coverage required

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
