The Accounting Analyst is responsible for month-end close activities, including preparing journal entries, reconciling general ledger accounts, prepaid expenses, utilities, and cash accounts. This role analyzes financial statements to ensure accuracy, identify variances, and support financial reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Perform account reconciliations and cash reconciliations.
- Prepare and post journal entries, including prepaid and utility expenses.
- Support month-end close activities.
- Analyze financial statements and financial data for accuracy and trends.
- Utilize Excel and ERP systems for reporting and analysis.
- 3+ years of accounting experience (general ledger).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with ERP systems such as Infor, Lawson, or similar platforms.
