Hospice Volunteer Coordinator
Are you someone who enjoys connecting with people, speaking to groups, and organizing meaningful programs? Haven Home Health & Hospice is seeking a Hospice Volunteer Coordinator to lead and grow our volunteer program while helping support patients and families during one of life’s most meaningful journeys.
This role is ideal for someone who is a strong communicator, enjoys public speaking, and thrives on building relationships in the community. You will recruit, train, and support volunteers while helping ensure our program continues to make a difference for the patients and families we serve.
What You’ll Do- Recruit, train, and support hospice volunteers
- Coordinate volunteer assignments based on interests and program needs
- Lead volunteer orientations and ongoing training
- Maintain volunteer records, evaluations, and regulatory documentation
- Represent Haven Hospice at community events, workshops, and outreach opportunities
- Build relationships with local organizations, churches, and community partners
- Work closely with leadership to grow and strengthen the volunteer program
- Someone who enjoys public speaking and connecting with people
- A great communicator who can build strong relationships
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to lead, coordinate, and support a team of volunteers
- Experience in program coordination, leadership, or volunteer management preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
