Job Overview
We are seeking a Systems Administrator to maintain the integrity, security, and performance of mission‑critical operating systems at Fort Rucker. The role serves as a key liaison between customers and NETCOM, ensuring software integration and system maintenance align with Army regulations and mission requirements.
Location & ClearanceLocation: Fort Rucker, AL
Clearance: Active Secret
- System Maintenance: Manage OS installation, troubleshooting, backups, recovery, and software upgrades.
- Network & AD: Provide technical expertise for network support and manage Active Directory within legacy and AUDS environments.
- Integration & Compliance: Facilitate software integration onto the DoWIN network and ensure strict compliance with DA Pam 738‑751.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between NETCOM and stakeholders to align objectives and resolve technical conflicts.
- Scripting & Deployment: Utilize Power Shell to create silent, unattended installers (MSI/EXE) and troubleshoot deployments using Win Event, Proc Mon, and Sysinternals.
