AboutThe Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced 2nd Line Mechanic for the AH-64D/E Apache to join our aviation maintenance team. This role supports scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities to ensure aircraft readiness and compliance with all technical and regulatory standards. The selected candidate will work directly under the Maintenance Supervisor and contribute to mission support operations.
Key Responsibilities- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, servicing, and repairs on the AH-64D/E aircraft in accordance with applicable technical publications, maintenance manuals, and company procedures.
- Maintain aircraft, equipment, tools, and support resources in a high state of readiness.
- Support and mentor customer trainees through on-the-job training and technical guidance.
- Complete all required maintenance forms, records, and documentation in compliance with the SOP and relevant policies.
- Participate in maintenance test flights, operational checks, and diagnostic procedures when required (subject to flight physical completion).
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, team members, and cross-functional departments.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate or equivalent industry qualification.
- High School Diploma.
- Graduation from a military or commercial aircraft maintenance program preferred.
- Corrosion prevention training preferred.
- Minimum 6 years aviation maintenance experience.
- Minimum 3 years hands-on experience as a mechanic on the AH-64D/E aircraft.
- Strong knowledge of common tools, special tools, test equipment, and ground support equipment for this aircraft type.
- Strong English reading, writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to train, guide, and support technical trainees.
- Solid program management awareness and understanding of aviation contract terminology.
- Proficiency with computer-based applications and maintenance systems.
- Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
