Golf Operations Assistant

Overview

The Club at North Downs is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Golf Operations Assistant to join our team at Get Golfing. As a charity supporting struggling golf facilities in England, we are passionate about preserving and reviving the sport of golf by providing exceptional experiences for our members and visitors.

• Check in golfers and manage tee times
• Assist with golf equipment rentals
• Answer inquiries and provide excellent customer service to members and visitors
• Support the smooth operation of the golf facility in a dynamic environment

• A passion for golf and a basic knowledge of the sport
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with golfers and staff members
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with golf management systems
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays

Shift patterns would vary across the week from 5.30am through until 9pm with split shifts of early and later starts throughout the summer with shifts across the year dependent on sunlight and weather.
