THE JOBAs a Pastry Sous Chef, you are a creative and operational leader within the pastry kitchen, delivering exceptional quality, consistency, and presentation across all desserts and baked goods. Supporting the Executive Pastry Chef, you’ll help lead the pastry team while ensuring every item reflects precision, craftsmanship, and a memorable guest experience.
THE DAY-TO-DAYPastry Leadership & Training: Train, coach, and supervise pastry cooks, bakers, and support staff to ensure consistent execution and skill development.
Quality & Presentation: Execute and oversee pastry and dessert production with a strong eye for detail, ensuring superior quality, flavor, and presentation at all times.
Recipe Execution & Standards: Accurately create, measure, read, and execute pastry recipes while maintaining standardized methods and portion control.
Food Safety & Organization: Ensure all products are properly labeled, dated, stored, and handled in compliance with sanitation and food safety standards.
Operational
Collaboration:
Communicate effectively with culinary leadership and service teams to support service needs and respond to guest requests or feedback.Inventory & Administrative Support: Assist the Executive Pastry Chef with purchasing, receiving, inventory control, scheduling, payroll, training documentation, coaching, and corrective action as needed.
Minimum age of 21
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
2+ years of experience in a high-volume restaurant, production kitchen, or fine dining restaurant

The pay range for this role is:
$47,165.76 - $62,258.70
Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
