Speech Pathologist
A dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support students within a K-12 school environment in Oxon Hill, Maryland. This role provides an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact by assisting students with diverse speech, language, and communication challenges, fostering their academic progress and social development throughout the school year contract.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals tailored to student needs
- Deliver both direct therapy and consultative services to students
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and IEP teams to coordinate student support plans
- Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist License
- Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) Certification or eligibility to obtain certification
- Experience in school or pediatric settings is preferred but not mandatory
- Full-time (35 hours per week) or part-time schedules available
- Work 7-hour days providing on-site services within the school
- Support a diverse K-12 caseload throughout the contract school year
