Radiology Mammography Physician Hospital Setting

Monday ??? Friday | 8:00 AM ??? 5:00 PM | No Call We are seeking a dedicated, Board-Certified Radiologist specializing in Breast Imaging for a 6-month locum tenens assignment. Located near Oxon Hill, MD, this role offers a structured hospital-based environment with a focus on high-quality patient care and diagnostic precision. Position Highlights Stable Daytime
Hours:
8.5-hour shifts with a dedicated 30-minute lunch and no on-call or weekend requirements. Premium Compensation:
Competitive rates with 1.5x overtime and holiday pay for hours worked beyond the standard shift. Collaborative Environment:
Work alongside a full support staff, including Medical Assistants and specialized Mammography/Ultrasound Technicians.
Key Responsibilities Perform and interpret diagnostic mammography and breast MRI. Conduct 6???8 breast procedures daily. Manage a daily volume of approximately 26???28 diagnostics, maintaining a total productivity of 60???70 wRVUs. Qualifications Board Certification:
Radiology (A /AO ). Licensure:
Active Maryland State License (IMLC candidates welcome).
Certifications:
Current ACLS, BLS, and DEA registration required. Expertise:
Strong proficiency in breast procedures and MRI interpretation. Timeline & Logistics Credentialing: 60???90 day timeframe. Commitment:
