CDL Truck Driver; Class A

We are seeking a dependable and professional CDL Truck Driver (Class

A) to perform local deliveries in the greater Los Angeles area using a 53’ flatbed trailer. This role is responsible for ensuring safe and timely transportation of materials, proper loading and strapping of goods, and maintaining excellent communication and service with customers. The ideal candidate will be safety-focused, punctual, and capable of independently managing daily routes and responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive a Class A truck and 48’ flatbed trailer to deliver products throughout the Southern California region
• Load and secure materials (pallets, boxes, crates, and large parts) safely and effectively using straps and proper tie-down methods
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and trailer to ensure roadworthiness
• Maintain accurate delivery records, shipping paperwork, and driver logs as required
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery sites by being professional, timely, and helpful
• Follow all DOT, state, and company safety regulations and procedures
• Communicate delivery progress, delays, or issues with dispatch and operations team
• Assist with general yard and warehouse activities when not driving, as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience with flatbed trailers preferred
• Experience securing and strapping large loads (pallets, boxes, crates)
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening
• Strong knowledge of local roads, freeways, and commercial driving safety practices
• Excellent time management, customer service, and communication skills
• Ability to lift and secure loads weighing up to 50 lbs
• High school diploma or equivalent
