• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.

The Utilities Clerk will assist in the proper maintenance of the store, particularly in the Produce Department, and assist customers on the store floor as needed. They will properly bag groceries for customers when needed and carry out groceries for customers if requested. The Utilities Clerk is responsible for store maintenance to ensure the store is clean and safe at all times, including maintaining and retrieving store carts, running price checks, assisting with go‑backs, checking stand upkeep, and removing waste from the parking area.

Typical for a fast‑paced grocery store, requiring lifting, standing, walking, kneeling, and visual and auditory requirements.
