Overview

Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T2760) rting hourly rate: $18.50 USD per hour.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs and resolve guest concerns.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store; guide guests on features that drive adoption and loyalty.
• Scan and bag items efficiently and accurately, complying with safety standards and best practices.
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy.
• Explain and demonstrate Target App features (Wallet) and assist with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering.
• Assist with returns following Target policies and procedures, seeking help from leaders as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area; stock supplies during store hours as needed.
• Practice ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; report hazards and take corrective action where possible.
• Support guest services such as Order Pick Up, Drive-Up, and related duties while adhering to applicable laws and store policies.

• Ability to stay focused and composed in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple tasks.

• Accurately handle checkout operations and transactions; support cash office operations as needed.
• Ability to scan, move merchandise safely; lift up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 44 pounds occasionally without assistance.
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable attendance.
• Ability to be mobile for the duration of the shift; work in varied temperatures and environments as required by duties (e.g., Drive-Up, carryout).
