Registered Nurse (RN) – Wound Care - Travel Position (with $7,500 Completion Bonus)

Pay: $3,046 /week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts)

The Wound Care Registered Nurse specializes in assessing, treating, and managing patients with acute, chronic, and complex wounds. This role involves implementing evidence-based wound care protocols, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and educating patients and caregivers on wound prevention and management.

• Perform comprehensive wound assessments, including size, depth, and tissue type.
• Develop and implement individualized wound care plans based on physician orders and best practices.
• Apply advanced wound care treatments (e.g., negative pressure therapy, specialty dressings).
• Monitor wound healing progress and adjust care plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families on wound care techniques, infection prevention, and nutrition for healing.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Collaborate with physicians, dietitians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure compliance with infection control standards and facility protocols.

• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing).
• Licensure: Current RN license in [State].
• Certifications:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required
  • Wound Care Certification (WCC, CWCN, or similar) – Preferred
• Experience:
  • Minimum 1 year of wound care or related clinical experience preferred.

• Strong knowledge of wound healing physiology and treatment modalities.
• Excellent assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communication and patient education abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Ability to stand, walk, and lift moderate weight for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity for dressing changes and wound care procedures.
